Creative Conversations

Creative Conversations is the flagship event for the China Australia Writing Centre (CAWC).

What began as a one-day literary festival in Perth in 2016, in partnership with ABC Radio National, has now become an annual event and includes a podcast and YouTube channel.

In 2018 the public event was held for the first time in Shanghai and livestreamed to audiences globally.

Creative Conversations returned to Perth in late 2019 the celebrated Chinese poet and photographer Wang Yin, Curtin University’s Dr Jo Jones, and multi-award winning author Kim Scott.
